"Cancel for Any Reason" Policy

Please be advised that standard travel insurance offered by Travelex does not cover travel interupted by health alerts, except if a family member’s sickness leads to the cancellation of a trip.

The “Cancel for Any Reason” policy needs to be purchased within 30 days of making for initial deposit or payment of the current trip and is recommended for:

  • Traveling to areas with civil unrest
  • Taking cruises around hurricane season
  • A businessperson who might need to cancel for work reasons
  • Traveling when a sick relative is home
  • Travelers who rely on child care
